However, appropriate supports might improve the odds that high school students with disabilities feel confident and successful, in both their academic and social lives. In order for school professionals to best support students with disabilities, it is critical that they consider the preferences and experiences of these students. Further, students with disabilities who are currently in high school might find it helpful to learn about the high school experiences of students with disabilities who have already graduated. The purpose of this community-based participatory research (CBPR) project is to gather the perspectives and stories of recent high school graduates and current high school students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and learning disabilities (LD).\u00a0We want to learn from you, and help teachers and students do the same!<\/p>\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\t\n\t\n<\/header>\n\n<\/div><a href=\"#\" id=\"the-page-section-title\" class=\"in-page-link\"><\/a><section class=\"aq-block light-wrapper\"><div class=\"container\"><div class=\"row\"><div id=\"aq-block-17-4\" class=\"aq-block aq-block-aq_section_title_block col-sm-12 aq-first aq-last \"><div class=\"text-center\"><h1 class=\"\">We are particularly interested in learning about:<\/h1><\/div><\/div><div id=\"aq-block-17-5\" class=\"aq-block aq-block-aq_ebor_text_block col-sm-4 aq-first \"><div class=\"feature feature-icon-left\"><div class=\"icon-holder\"><i class=\"icon icon_lightbulb_alt\"><\/i><\/div><div class=\"feature-text\"><h6>What do you wish you had known in high school?<\/h6><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"aq-block-17-6\" class=\"aq-block aq-block-aq_ebor_text_block col-sm-4  aq-last \"><div class=\"feature feature-icon-left\"><div class=\"icon-holder\"><i class=\"icon icon_group\"><\/i><\/div><div class=\"feature-text\"><h6>What kinds of things did school professionals do that was especially helpful for you in high school?<\/h6><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"aq-block-17-7\" class=\"aq-block aq-block-aq_ebor_text_block col-sm-4  aq-last \"><div class=\"feature feature-icon-left\"><div class=\"icon-holder\"><i class=\"icon icon_search_alt\"><\/i><\/div><div class=\"feature-text\"><h6>What would you like (or would you have liked) your teachers to know about you in high school?<\/h6><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><a href=\"#\" id=\"intro\" class=\"in-page-link\"><\/a><section class=\"side-image text-heavy clearfix dark-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"image-container col-md-5 col-sm-3 pull-left\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"background-image-holder\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"background-image\" alt=\"Background Image\" src=\"https:\/\/bottemabeutel.com\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/red-school-blur-factory.jpg\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t    <div class=\"col-md-6 col-md-offset-6 col-sm-8 col-sm-offset-4 content clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t    \t<div class=\"row\"><div id=\"aq-block-17-9\" class=\"aq-block aq-block-aq_ebor_text_block col-sm-12 aq-first aq-last \"><div class=\"feature\"><div class=\"lead\"><p>Through learning more about what students and recent graduates with disabilities experience(d) in high school and what best supported their journeys, our aim is to create a set of support materials focusing on how to navigate high school. These materials will be designed with two audiences in mind; future high school students with ASD and LD, and the school professionals who work with them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you
